I'm finally done with the academy I was in, I'm working at my department now. I just worked on training stuff this week and helped with some admin. But I'm going into section next week. PT is kicking my butt! I am so sore from this week. I hope I keep going while I'm in section. Im gonna be in day section so it's not as easy to attend, but I'm gonna go on my off days.
Some more weird foods I tried
The lumpy looking fruit is custard apple. I was not a fan of this, it had really big seeds in it. The melon tasted like a cross between honeydew and cantaloupe. And the small things are figs. Stole this picture from my friend that I tried the fruits with.
Going to my first brunch today with some coworkers. Brunches in bahrain are pretty notorious because they are all you can eat and all you can drink (alcohol) for a one time fee. In bahrain, you have to have a sober Liberty buddy if you plan on drinking, so I'm the sober one since I'm not drinking here. It hasn't been that hard to give up drinking. I went to a christmas party and had no temptation. Hopefully brunch is just as easy.
